Who We Are
As of November 2010, we have joined Epocrates, Inc., a leading provider of point-of-care tools and interactive
services to healthcare professionals and the healthcare industry. We remain based in Durham, NC.
What We Do
As part of Epocrates, Inc., we will continue to develop innovative Apple iOS applications that support
clinicians’ point-of-care needs.
We have historically worked with many of the world's leading publishers and content experts and will continue
to do so to develop medical, training and reference applications for Apple iOS devices.
Our transformation platform enables rapid delivery of customized, branded applications for large-scale public
or private distribution without sacrificing content security, usability and valuable brand characteristics. As
with Epocrates, Modality was selected by Apple as one of the first developers to work with the iPhone SDK.
As of November 2010, Modality independently released over 40 paid applications
since the App Store opened in July 2008.
